Emerge is a 9-month-long full-time internship program designed to prepare you for your purpose in the world. Whether you feel drawn to business, the arts, or social causes we will arm you with the tools and skills to lead well and succeed in today’s culture, all from a biblical perspective. Aimed specifically at 18-25 year olds who are looking to get started on the right foot, we’re going to help you unlock your true potential with a holistic approach that’s going to target every area of your life. Here’s what to expect during an average week at Emerge:

We believe you have a specific purpose on this earth, and we intend to help you find it and unlock it. We will help you prepare for life using a holistic approach that focuses not just on academics, but on every aspect of your life. We like to call this Spirit + Life + Passion. Spirit is your relationship with God, Life is your habits, your relationships and your goals, and Passion focuses on what you feel called to do in life. Here are a few of the things we’ll focus on during your 9 months in Emerge.

Get a Diploma of Theology.

Once a month you will participate in a weekend intensive Bible class. These classes – provided by the Christian Life Educator’s Network (or CLEN for short) – are top-of-the-line 3-credit courses from incredible teachers stationed all over the nation. Upon completion of these courses you will receive a Diploma of Theology from CLEN.

An average weekend intensive schedule would be:

  • OCTOBER 5-7 : Survey of the New Testament
  • NOVEMBER 2-4 : History of the Early Church
  • DECEMBER 7-9 : Study of Faiths and Religions
  • JANUARY 4-6 : Jewish Background of the New Testament
  • FEBRUARY 1-3 : Creation – Our Foundation
  • MARCH 1-3 – Spiritual Gifts
  • APRIL 5-7 : Old Testament Theology
  • MAY 10-12 : Book of Galatians
  • JUNE 7-9 – History of Christianity in America

Pricing and Fundraising

Emerge will cost $3,150 for a complete year of the program. This works out to $350 a month. There is also a $15 processing fee for your initial interest application and a $75 fee upon final enrollment in the program.

On top of this, there will also be expenses related to the international mission trip if student decides to be a part, of $3,000. Fundraising opportunities will be available.

In addition to the standard weekly Emerge program, there will also be an optional mission trip offered during the year. You will see new cultures, make new friends, and change people’s lives. Some fundraising opportunities will be available to help subsidize this trip and the cost of schooling.
